Internships & graduation assignments

Are you ready for the real deal? Then step up to the plate! An internship or graduation assignment at Heerema Marine Contractors provides you with an environment in which you can prove that you have what it takes. Either on board of one of our vessels or at our head office in Leiden.

Whether you are studying at a nautical academy, or enrolled on a higher professional education program or scientific education program, Heerema offers internships and graduation projects. The most talented graduates are given the opportunity to continue their career within the company. This way both you and HMC can get the most out of it!

All the offshore projects our ships are involved in are prepared, developed, budgeted, monitored, accounted for and evaluated on land in our offices. This means they can be just as hectic as the locations where the actual engineering work is done. HMC is a dynamic international company that takes on major assign-ments, many of them quite unprecedented.

A student traineeship with HMC is your chance to experience offshore installation work at first hand. As well as our highly specialized crane vessels, we also operate a variety of other ships. For example, anchor-handling tugs to help moor crane vessels and floating platforms on open sea. A chance to work on one of these is a life changing and educational experience.
